World Class Eye Surgery Available Locally Brooklyn Eye Surgery Center was founded in 1984 and is known as a "community resource" to both patients and physicians, and committed to providing the highest quality eye care and ophthalmic surgery.

Brooklyn Eye Surgery Center is one of the first Medicare-approved and NYS-licensed freestanding ambulatory surgery centers in the metropolitan New York area. It has achieved accreditation by AAAHC ( Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care).

Why is accreditation so important? Safety, comfort and efficacy. All laser and surgical vision correction procedures are performed in an operating environment that is state-of-the-art and "truly sterile". A "truly sterile environment" means that not only are the instruments sterilized, but also the rooms in which the surgery is performed meets the same high standards and requirements for sterile operating rooms as outlined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
